Que Sera Sera

*Insert witty tagline here*

As a kid, I could never sit through a whole movie. I’d get fidgetty and bored and go find something else to do. This has meant that there are countless movies that everyone else has seen and believes they are classics, and yet, I haven’t seen them.

I’ve seen part of the first Star Wars movie that came out.

Before tonight, i’d also seen episode one, though I couldn’t remember much about it.

So, after shelling out an additional $4 for some sick podracer 3D glasses, I entered the movie with a sense of excitement and a fresh mind.

And i’ve got to say, I actually enjoyed it. I’m not generally a huge fan of the standard cinema 3D but it was subtle enough in the movie that I didn’t mind.

So, while I was enjoying the movie and actually understanding what was going on, the rest of the group seemed slightly underwhelmed and half of them fell asleep. Guess that’s what they get for seeing it so often when they were younger.

I guess I got good value out of both my younger years and the movie tonight. I’m sure I got many more productive things done as a kid, and I, unlike a few others in the group, didn’t fall asleep in the movie tonight from boredem as a result of watching it too many times.

Side note: only another 5000 ‘classic’ movies to go…
