This is seriously an amazing visual. I always hear people say “healthy food is too expensive”…. well here you go!


I would love to see where they got 2-pounds of chicken for $1.96. You can’t get 2-pounds of sand for $1.96.

Yeah, and it might just be Australia’s position as an agricultural food bowl known for its meat production, but I’ve never seen half a kilogram of mince beef go for less than $4.50-5.00.
I don’t know where they’re shopping, but I wouldn’t be able to get this stuff for under $40.

I spent the last half hour going through this list with Woolworths online; I had the whole thing written up when my browser crashed. Basically: even without peaches, it’ll set you back 40 bucks. Obviously it’s still a better deal than the KFC, because this is enough food for at least a good couple of days, but there’s no way in hell that it’s cheaper.

I wish. Dammit Australia, get cheaper.
